Resilience and mental health

Help employees to manage and minimise anxiety and stress

Overview

1/3 of UK employees suffer from anxiety or depression, so it is imperative for companies and managers to spend time understanding how to deal with mental health issues in the workplace.

Attitudes and understanding of mental health issues within the workplace are improving, as progressive employers develop a culture which enables employees to openly share issues. Managers need to develop new skills to be better equipped and build trust, colleagues need to develop develop their understanding and the actions they can take to support one another.

You will:

  • You will become more aware of mental wellbeing
  • Be able to spot signs, both in yourself and those around you
  • How to look after colleagues that are affected by mental health issues
